We requested thin chapter books, which to my understanding should have been less challenging chapter books. Many of the books that we received were thin, however they were extremely advanced. Many are also very old, none are current titles as are shown in all the ads. I understand that it would be a mix, but I did think we would receive some more current books.
I didn’t receive a great mix of books. Most were targeted toward girls (I have boys) and were very very easy. I wish the distribution of the levels of books would have been more even.
Most of the books we received appeared to be free be pamphlet type items rather than actual books. Many of them were also very old and not relevant. Overall, the purchase was a huge disappointment.
